Information required for the configuration To set up the connection, you will need to gather the following information: \- the **account number** of your UPS contract \- the **services** used:  -\> Access Point Economy -\> Expedited -\> Express -\> Express Saver -\> Standard -\> Worldwide Express Plus -\> Worldwide Saver -\> Worldwide Economy DDU     ### 2. Create a carrier service in Shippingbo **2.1:** Go to your Shippingbo interface to create your carrier connection in the **Connectors** -\> **Carrier** menu -\> Click on **Add a carrier**: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/contrattransport-png.png?width=648&height=327&name=contrattransport-png.png)   **2.2:** Search for "**UPS**" in the search bar, then click on the UPS tab that appears: **![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-50-09-7873-AM.png?width=543&height=248&name=image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-50-09-7873-AM.png)**   **2.3:** Your connector opens and a first category appears: **![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-51-17-1846-AM.png?width=581&height=108&name=image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-51-17-1846-AM.png)** 1\) The pencil icon to the right of the service allows you to edit the name of your connector. 2\) The "Logs" button takes you to the past calls made to the carrier. Configure the carrier account **3.1:** First, you will need to identify your UPS account by clicking on the "Link/Relink account" button: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-51-52-8815-AM.png?width=607&height=67&name=image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-51-52-8815-AM.png) You will be redirected to a pop-up window that will allow you to log in to your UPS account by entering your account email address and checking the box before clicking: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-52-55-9290-AM.png?width=465&height=337&name=image-png-Mar-26-2025-10-52-55-9290-AM.png) Then enter your password before clicking on "**Log In**". A confirmation window is displayed to let you know that your UPS account is properly linked to Shippingbo.   **3.2:** Next, enter your UPS account number in the contract information: **![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-26-2025-11-05-56-9661-AM.png?width=566&height=370&name=image-png-Mar-26-2025-11-05-56-9661-AM.png)** **3.3:** Go to "My services" to create a new service:  **![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-24-2025-01-05-12-5549-PM.png?width=478&height=127&name=image-png-Mar-24-2025-01-05-12-5549-PM.png)** **3.4:** The configuration will already be enabled by default: **![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-24-2025-01-06-47-2887-PM.png?width=403&height=97&name=image-png-Mar-24-2025-01-06-47-2887-PM.png)**   Then fill in the information required to configure the new service:  - **the service**: select the name of the main service to connect from the following list: Access Point Economy / Expedited / Express / Express Saver / Standard / Worldwide Express Plus / Worldwide Saver / Worldwide Economy DDU - **the pick-up point service**: select the name of the service used for your pick-up point shipments: Access Point Economy / Expedited / Express / Express Saver / Standard / Worldwide Express Plus / Worldwide Saver / Worldwide Economy DDU ⭐ **Key point:**  On Shippingbo, each UPS carrier service configuration includes one service for home deliveries and one service for pick-up point deliveries: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-May-15-2026-03-52-28-4375-PM.png?width=544&height=211&name=image-png-May-15-2026-03-52-28-4375-PM.png) If your UPS contract allows for more services, you will need to **create new UPS service configurations**. - **labels & slips**: select here the information you want to appear on the labels - **parcels and insurance**: configure your insurance if you have one - In this section, you can add the **Deliver to the recipient's address only** option **:** **![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Feb-24-2025-10-13-02-3259-AM.png?width=466&height=229&name=image-png-Feb-24-2025-10-13-02-3259-AM.png)** - **international shipping**: - Check the ***Use electronic customs documents*** option if you want to use electronic customs documents. - Check the ***send\_order\_ref\_for\_invoice\_number*** option if you want to use the order's source reference (source\_ref) as the invoice number on UPS customs documents. Configure hazardous materials for UPS shipments If you ship hazardous materials with UPS, you will need to specify this in the product sheet of the products concerned.
