# DOES A DUPLICATED ORDER ALWAYS HAVE A LINK TO THE INITIAL ORDER AND THE SALES SOURCE?

A duplicated order **has no link** to the initial order (apart from the original and source references), or to the sales source. 

 

As a result, an action taken on a duplicated order (cancellation, shipment, product change...) will have **no consequence** on the initial order and, above all, will not be communicated to the sales source.
