CUTTING AN ORDER UPON SHIPPING
Ship an order in multiple installments when some items are unavailable.
Prerequisites✔️:
- The options of control picking and decrement at picking must be activated. To activate them on your account, you can request it from our support service. here.
1. How do I split an order for shipping?
This feature allows you to ship an order in multiple shipments when, for example, some items are out of stock. It is only available for orders originating from Shopify And Prestashop, with a B2B process activated.
Example :
An order contains 1 quantity of the IPOD2012 product and 2 quantities of the IPOD2014 product. If the IPOD2012 product is out of stock, you can ship the 2 quantities of IPOD2014 immediately.
2. Enable the cut-on-shipment feature
To activate this feature, you need to contact the support team, who can configure it on your account. Also, check that your order sources support partial shipping (some marketplaces do not).
3. Use the cutting tool for shipping
3.1 Partial shipping process:
- During the picking check, scan the products you wish to ship at that time, then click on Partially shipped:

- Print the label corresponding to this first shipment.
- The order changes to the status Shippedand a new order is automatically created, containing the products remaining to be sent.
- In the order that has been updated to the "shipped" status, the product lines now appear as follows: the scanned product and its quantity have correctly changed to the "shipped" status, while the unscanned product remains in the "to be prepared" status, but its quantity changes to 0.
3.2 Shipment of missing products:
- To ship the remaining products, follow the usual shipping process for the newly generated order.
Example :
You ship 2 quantities of IPOD2014, and a new order is automatically created for IPOD2012, which is still out of stock. This new order will be in "to be prepared" status.
💠 Noticed :
If you are using this feature with B2B sessions, ensure that label printing via the PDA is configured correctly.
📢Attention :
The main command will change to the status Shipped on your external service only once all products have been shipped.
