ERROR WHEN GENERATING A PREPARATION SLIP FOR AN ORDER

You want to generate a preparation slip for an order, but you receive an error message.

The slip cannot be generated because it is currently not possible to reserve stock at the desired location for the specified product. 

 

Solution: you need to open the location to see where this reservation error comes from. There are several possibilities: 

➡️The product does not have enough stock to meet the needs of the order. You therefore need to put quantities back in stock, if possible. 

➡️Stock is already reserved by one or more other orders, so there is not enough left for the order in error. If possible, you can free up the location by canceling the slip of the order that is reserving stock, for example if it has already been shipped. 

➡️Picking is not allowed for the product's location. You therefore need to enable it by going directly to the location.
