# COLISSIMO: ERROR WHEN GENERATING A LABEL: "THE NUMBER OF ITEMS EXCEEDS THE MAXIMUM"

You are trying to ship an order with Colissimo, but you receive the following error message when the label is generated: 

*"The number of items exceeds the maximum."*

 

This error message comes from Colissimo: indeed, Colissimo limits the number of items a shipment can contain to 100. 

 

**✅Solution:** you can split the order to better distribute the number of items, by following one of the following tutorials:
