# LI4278 BARCODE SCANNER CONFIGURATION

### Scan the 5 codes one by one, leaving a 2-second interval

 

**Step 1:** Connect the USB cable to the base of your reader and connect the base to your PC

 

**Step 2:** Place the LI4278 reader on the base to automatically synchronize the reader with its base

 📢 **Warning:**

Do not press the reader's trigger and wait, before going any further, until the LED on the reader flashes green

**Step 3:** Scan the codes below for the simplified setup of your reader. Instructions:

Scan the 5 codes below in order to configure your reader for French keyboards and add the carriage return (ENTER key) at the end of each scan

 

**CODE 1:** 

After scanning this code, wait 5 seconds, then pair the reader with its base by placing it on the base.

**CODE 2:** 

Once scanned, wait for the 2nd beep, then the flashing, then the 3rd beep before moving on to the next code.
