MONDIAL RELAY: 99-GENERIC ERROR FROM THE MONDIAL RELAY SERVICE

You want to ship an order with Mondial Relay, but you receive the error below when generating the label:

"99-Generic error from the Mondial Relay service. This error may be due to a technical problem with the service. Please report this error to Mondial Relay, specifying the date and time of the request as well as the parameters sent, so that a check can be carried out."

This error message can occur for two reasons:

1) The pick-up point indicated in the delivery address is a Mondial Relay Locker (or any other specific pick-up point).

It indicates that the Mondial Relay Lockers offer is not authorized for your transport contract with Mondial Relay.

Here is the procedure to find out whether the indicated pick-up point number corresponds to a Locker:

a) Go to the Mondial Relay website:

https://www.mondialrelay.fr/trouver-le-point-relais-le-plus-proche-de-chez-moi/

b) Enter the postal code and city of the delivery address and select "Show Lockers first".

c) Search for the pick-up point ID indicated in the delivery address: you will then see whether it corresponds to a Locker.

✅ Solution: if it is indeed a Locker, you need to contact Mondial Relay to get more information on this subject. If your carrier provider is 12PLUS (Mondial Relay by 12PLUS), please contact 12PLUS directly.

If, in the meantime, you want to prevent your customers from selecting Mondial Relay Lockers, you need to adapt the settings directly in your sales sources.

2) The pick-up point type is not authorized: this is the case for type S (small) pick-up points.

✅ Solution: you need to change the pick-up point in order to generate the label.
