# MONDIAL RELAY: ERROR WHEN GENERATING A LABEL: THE NAME OF THE SENDER OR RECIPIENT IS INVALID

You are trying to generate a label with Mondial Relay, but you receive the following error: 

*"MondialRelayApi::Client::MondialRelayError: 30-The name of the sender or of the recipient is invalid. Please check that the last name and first name fields are filled in in your customer account."*

 

This error indicates an issue with the "Name" field of the shipping or delivery address: 

✅ **Solution:**

1\. Either this field is not filled in, so you need to check the delivery address as well as the shipping address (in **Configurations =\> Accounts**; if you are a WMS account, check whether you have a shipping address per origin specific to the order's origin in **Configurations =\> Notifications and labels =\> Shipping addresses per origin** ; check whether an address specific to this carrier is configured in the label account)

 

2\. Or the value entered in this field exceeds the number of characters allowed by Mondial Relay, in which case you need to shorten the value entered.
