Prerequisites✔️: - This feature is available **only** for Shippingbo accounts handling the **OMS** side. - Contact Shippingbo support to activate this feature.   ### 3. How does stock pre-reservation work? When an order source is configured with a stock pre-reservation: - The pre-reserved stock is added to the quantity available for sale for this source. - Other sources only see the stock available for sale, excluding the pre-reserved stock.   📢 **Warning**: This feature does not reserve stock in the warehouse; it only adjusts the quantity available for sale.   ### 4. Activate and configure the feature #### 1. If today's date falls within the selected period, it is **In progress**; if the selected period is later than today's date, it is **Upcoming**.  - Click on the "**+**" to open your pre-reservation. You can add the products you want to include in this pre-reservation manually or by import. Add products to the pre-reservation - Click on **Add a pre-reservation line: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2025-12-01-36-1954-PM.png?width=670&height=209&name=image-png-Apr-01-2025-12-01-36-1954-PM.png)** - Enter the product reference and the quantity to include, then confirm: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2025-12-08-08-0886-PM.png?width=441&height=245&name=image-png-Apr-01-2025-12-08-08-0886-PM.png) - The product is displayed in the list of pre-reserved products: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2025-12-09-37-4635-PM.png?width=670&height=217&name=image-png-Apr-01-2025-12-09-37-4635-PM.png) - However, on the product sheet, as long as the reservation date has not been reached, the pre-reservation remains a draft and does not appear: 📢 **Warning**: If an order is placed before the pre-reservation is activated, it will not be taken into account.   ### 5. Order processing during the configured period - Once activated (that is, when we are within the configured period), the pre-reservation status changes to **In progress: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-22-2025-07-43-23-3315-AM.png?width=542&height=29&name=image-png-Apr-22-2025-07-43-23-3315-AM.png)** During this period, orders from the configured source deplete the pre-reserved stock. - When you go to the product sheet, the pre-reserved stock appears: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-22-2025-07-45-12-9811-AM.png?width=541&height=217&name=image-png-Apr-22-2025-07-45-12-9811-AM.png) - Orders from other sources deplete stock as usual without affecting the pre-reserved stock. - At the end of the period, the pre-reservation closes **automatically**. 💠 **Note**: If the start date is set to the same day, all orders placed since midnight will be counted.   ### 6. If you want to change them, you will need to delete them and create new ones.   ### 7.
