Prerequisites✔️: - Available for all Shippingbo packs working with **warehouse zones**. - Specifics:  - **Premium + pack**: no location management. - **Expert + pack**: virtual locations can be created. - **Warehouse preparation:** - Create a dedicated "Crossdock" zone or location to put products down when they arrive. - No putting products into stock in the standard locations.   ### 👩‍🎓What is a Crossdock shipment? Crossdock is a **logistics method** that consists of receiving goods in a warehouse (or on a dock) and shipping them **almost immediately**, without going through a standard storage phase.   ### 3. How do Crossdock shipments work in Shippingbo? #### 3.1 Receiving side In Shippingbo, you can set up a **dedicated multi-product location**, for example named *"Crossdock"*, which serves as a temporary space to hold goods as soon as they arrive. Products are then received in the **standard way**, as for any other delivery. The next step is **to associate this location with a zone**, so that you can launch a **preparation session by zone**, while avoiding spreading this stock across the standard locations of the warehouse. 👉 **Tip**: The **"Receive all"** option can be used to receive all products in a single action, without scanning each unit – provided that this feature is compatible with your account settings.   #### 3.2 Shipping side Once the products have been received in the Crossdock zone, you need to **launch a preparation session targeting this zone**. The picker can then pick only from the **locations dedicated to the Crossdock zone**, without touching the traditional stock. Orders are then **prepared as usual**, with the particularity that they come from this **fast flow**, and not from warehoused stock. #### **3.3 Order processing** - **Single-product**: - Using **Pick & Print**: scan, label printing, immediate shipment without putting the products on the shelves. - **Multi-product**: - Products are temporarily stored in the Crossdock zone. - Once all products have been received, orders are prepared and shipped via a dedicated session. 💡 **Tip**: The Crossdock method is particularly effective for flash operations or private sales where the products are not meant to stay in stock.   ### 4. Activate and configure Crossdock - Create a **Crossdock warehouse zone** and place the products concerned by this method in it.
