Set a preparation delay by carrier In Shippingbo, you can configure a desired preparation delay, applicable to all orders:  - To do so, go to the menu **Configurations** -\> **Logistics** -\> **Order preparation delays**: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Aug-11-2025-01-38-20-0536-PM.png?width=670&height=172&name=image-png-Aug-11-2025-01-38-20-0536-PM.png) - Enter the desired preparation delay here in **number of days**. This determines the desired preparation date by subtracting the preparation delay (in days) from the desired shipping date for the order: **Desired preparation date = Desired shipping date – Preparation delay (in days)**   ### 2. Automatic recalculation when a date is changed When your sales source sends a requested delivery date, Shippingbo calculates the desired preparation date based on it and on your configurations.
