[FAQs - Erreur à la génération des étiquettes](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/base-de-connaissance/erreurs-fr%C3%A9quentes-comment-les-%C3%A9viter?hsLang=fr#faqs-erreur-%C3%A0-la-g%C3%A9n%C3%A9ration-des-%C3%A9tiquettes) 25 octobre 2026 # DB SCHENKER: LABEL GENERATION ERROR "CONTACT COMMUNICATION CANNOT BE EMPTY" You are trying to generate a label with the carrier DB Schenker, but receive the following error:    *"Contact communication cannot be empty"*   This error indicates that the e-mail address is missing, either in the delivery address of the order or in the shipping address entered for this carrier.    ✅**Solution:**  First, check that the delivery address has an e-mail address entered.  Then, if you have shipping addresses by origin configured, check that the one matching the origin of the order concerned by the error does include an e-mail address. To do so, go to Configurations =\> Notifications and labels =\> Shipping addresses by origin.  Finally, you will need to contact Shippingbo support so that we can check that the shipping address configured for the DB Schenker label account used does include an e-mail address.   #### Contact us 📬: Questions about this feature?
