Prerequisites - This feature requires PCB to be enabled, which is set up by following the dedicated tutorial: **[ENABLE PCB](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/activer-le-pcb?hsLang=fr)**. - As this feature requires PCB, it requires the use of a configured PDA ➡️ More information on PDA setup here: **[INSTALL THE SHIPPINGBO APPLICATION ON PDA](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/installer-lapplication-shippingbo-sur-pda#4-activation-et-configuration)**. - The logistic unit (UL) to de-kit must first be created and stored in a location in your warehouse.   ### 2. How de-kitting a UL on the PDA works De-kitting lets you break down a logistic unit (UL) in order to return its consumer sales units (UVC) to available stock. Let's assume: **- a logistic unit HISTO-6** that contains **6 units** of the UVC (sku product) **HISTO-FIR**. \- Several HISTO-6 logistic units stored in location E-26    **2.1 Access the de-kitting menu** 1. The scanned UL is then dissolved and the UVC are added to the stock of the selected                    location. **💬 Good to know:** Breaking down the UL immediately updates the stock levels in your WMS. The UVC created can be reserved immediately for your orders awaiting preparation.   ### 3. Enabling de-kitting on the PDA This feature is available as soon as the PCB option is enabled. ➡️ More information in the dedicated tutorial: **[ENABLE PCB](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/activer-le-pcb?hsLang=fr)**.     ### 4. Practical example You have a carton (UL) containing 12 bottles of olive oil (UVC) located in location **A-02-01**. Today's orders require individual shipments. From your PDA, go to **Stock management \> De-kitting**. Scan the barcode of the UL, then scan the destination location **A-02-01** (or a picking location such as **PICK-01**) and validate. The UL disappears from the inventory and 12 UVC units are immediately available for picking.   **⚒️ Framework and responsibilities:**  Before fully using the feature described in this tutorial, we strongly recommend running **a test phase** with your own settings to check that the result matches your expectations.
