[Facturation](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/base-de-connaissance/configurations?hsLang=fr#facturation) 25 octobre 2026 # MIGRATING TO THE NEW INVOICING MODULE You want to make full use of the features of your Invoicing module, but in your module (**Configurations** \> **Invoicing**), the interface displays ***Generation disabled***, with a greyed-out, unavailable **Enable** button: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-02-2026-12-54-38-2912-PM.png?width=670&height=185&name=image-png-Sep-02-2026-12-54-38-2912-PM.png) ➡️ This means that your **Invoicing module** is running on an old model. Invoices generated by the new Invoicing module display more information than the old model, which makes it possible to comply with current customs requirements and to customize more precisely the information appearing on invoices.   ### 1. Prerequisites - This feature requires the **Invoicing module** to be enabled. Enable the new Invoicing module When you click on **Enable**, a modal appears with three settings to fill in: ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-02-2026-02-32-16-9201-PM.png?width=670&height=402&name=image-png-Sep-02-2026-02-32-16-9201-PM.png) - **Fiscal year start date**: corresponds to the closing/opening date of your fiscal year. Shippingbo Invoice uses it to trigger the generation of accounting documents on the right dates, matching the split of your successive fiscal years. - **Invoice generation start date**: defines from which order date invoices start to be generated automatically (to avoid duplicates with your old invoicing tool). - **First invoice number**: determines the starting point of your invoice numbering in Shippingbo.
