Shippingbo uses a cryptographic technology known as Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure data sent over the Internet between our customers and Shippingbo products. TLS guarantees the confidentiality and integrity of data through the use of one or more cipher suites. A cipher suite is a combination of authentication, encryption and message authentication code algorithms used when negotiating security settings and transferring data. ### I. **Affected Shippingbo products** This change will affect all secure traffic (HTTPS) to all Shippingbo products and services, including: - app.shippingbo.com - oauth.shippingbo.com - connectors-web.shippingbo.com - connect-again.shippingbo.com - oms-cdn.shippingbo.com ### II. **Supported TLS protocols** All Shippingbo products and services:  - will now support TLS version 1.3, - accept TLS version 1.2 at a minimum, - do not support TLS versions 1.1 or lower. ### III. **Check my systems (browsers, servers, etc.)** To test the compatibility of your systems with this change, you can run the following tests:  - On your browsers, go to [https://oms-staging.shippingbo.com/ciphers-test](https://oms-staging.shippingbo.com/ciphers-test) ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2024-01-11-39-1793-PM.png?width=322&height=90&name=image-png-Oct-29-2024-01-11-39-1793-PM.png) - - If the message "New ciphers OK" is displayed, your browser is compatible. - If it is not, please update your browser or use another one. - On your servers, use the curl command: `curl -v https://oms-staging.shippingbo.com/ciphers-test` ![](https://knowledge.shippingbo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-29-2024-01-17-38-1371-PM.png?width=665&height=227&name=image-png-Oct-29-2024-01-17-38-1371-PM.png) - - If the message "New ciphers OK" is displayed, your server is compatible. - If you get the error “Remote host terminated the handshake” or “OpenSSL SSL\_connect: SSL\_ERROR\_ZERO\_RETURN”, your server is not compatible. In this case, you will need to update your systems (operating system and/or application, depending on your case) so that the latest cipher suites are supported (get in touch with your IT team). #### **Supported cipher suites** Shippingbo products and services may attempt to negotiate with clients using the following cipher suites.
