Whether you've just adopted Shippingbo or you need to create a large number of products quickly from a file, you'll need to import them.
You can also use the product import to update your existing products.
Add a product via the interface
This solution is suitable when the quantity of product to be imported does not justify the use of a file import.
Step 1: Go to your Product Catalogue in the sidebar menu, then click on "Add" :
Step 2: Fill in the details of this product, then click on "Validate":
Step 3 (optional) : Add the dimensions of your product once it has been created by going to its product sheet so that Shippingbo can calculate its total volume in m3 (volume is calculated as follows: length X width X height):
CAREFUL Only the reference number (SKU) is compulsory and must be unique to avoid errors between your products. |
NOTE
If your product exists on several marketplaces with different part numbers, don't panic! You will be able to enter additional references once the product has been created.
Adding a product by importing a file
As with all the software, importing a file to add a product is done in CSV format.
CAREFUL You can import a maximum of 10,000 products per file. If you wish to import more than 10,000 products, you will need to do so in several imports. |
CAREFUL We recommend that you always test with a one-line file before launching your general import. Shippingbo support can take a long time to resolve import problems and may involve additional billing. Please bear this in mind before launching your import and contact us if in doubt for an analysis of your file. |
