ERROR WHEN GENERATING THE LABEL: THE TRACKING NUMBER INFORMATION DOES NOT MATCH THE ORDER INFORMATION

You are trying to generate a label to ship an order, but you receive the following error:

"The tracking number information does not match the order information."

This error is usually caused by one or more products in the order working with a serial number (which you can check in the "additional fields" tab of the product sheet), meaning that the serialNumbersEnabled option is enabled for these products:

But you are not using the control_picking feature when generating the label, which causes the error message. However, the use of serial numbers must be accompanied by the use of control_picking, because control_picking is what allows the shipped serial numbers to be verified and recorded.

✅Solution:

You need to disable the serialNumbersEnabled option on the products concerned, or else use control_picking if you want to keep using serial numbers.
