GLS: ERROR WHEN GENERATING A LABEL "THE EMAIL FIELD IS INVALID OR MISSING"

You are trying to generate a label with the carrier GLS, but you receive the following error:

"The email field is invalid or missing"

This error indicates that the email address is missing, either in the delivery address of the order or in the shipping address entered for this carrier.

✅Solution: first, check that the delivery address has an email filled in.

Then, if you have shipping addresses by origin configured, check that the one corresponding to the origin of the order affected by the error includes an email. To do so, go to Configurations => Notifications and labels => Shipping addresses by origin.

Finally, you will need to contact Shippingbo support so that we can check that the shipping address configured for the GLS label account used includes an email address.
