GLS: ERROR WHEN GENERATING A LABEL "THE MOBILE FIELD IS INVALID OR MISSING"

You are trying to generate a label with the carrier GLS and encounter the following error message: 

"Error when generating the label. Please check the address and then the label configuration.

⚠️The mobile field is invalid or missing."

 

This means there is an error either in the delivery address or in the shipping address. 

 

✅Solution:

First, check that the delivery address has a phone number filled in. 

Next, if you have shipping addresses configured by origin, check that the one matching the origin of the order concerned by the error does include a phone number. 

To do this, go to Configurations >> Notifications and labels >> Shipping addresses by origin

Finally, you will need to contact Shippingbo Support so that we can check that the shipping address configured for the GLS label account used does include a phone number.
