MANUAL CREATION OF PRODUCTS IN THE SHARED CATALOG: "PRODUCT MUST BE FILLED IN"

You are using Multi-Shippingbo (OMS + WMS) and are trying to create a product in the shared catalog (if you are on the OMS, the catalog is accessible from the "Warehouses" tab; if you are on the WMS, the catalog is accessible from the "Sellers" tab).

However, you receive the following error:

"Error while saving the information - Product must be filled in"

This error occurs because the product was not previously created in your own product catalog.

For a product to be created in a shared catalog, it must first exist in the catalog specific to your account.

✅Solution:

Here are the steps to follow to create products in a shared catalog:

1. Create the product in your standard product catalog, following this tutorial: Add products in Shippingbo.

2. Once the product is created, go to the shared catalog from the "Warehouses" tab if you are an OMS, or from the "Sellers" tab if you are a WMS.

3. Create the product in the shared catalog with the SKU you have just created and the shared reference agreed between the OMS and the WMS. The shared reference must be the same on both sides.
