HOW DO PICKING PRIORITIES WORK?
Picking at Shippingbo follows a precise logic depending on the location or the configuration of your products' locations.
🔎Case 1: Product without a defined location
📌 Picking priority: Picking is done in alphanumeric order of the SKU.
🔎 Case 2: Product with defined locations
Two possible situations:
-
All locations have the same priority:
➡️ Picking follows the alphanumeric order of the locations. -
Locations have different priorities:
➡️ The system respects the defined priorities.
The location with the highest priority (largest number) is picked first.
Example: if one location has a priority of 1 and another a priority of 3, the location with priority 3 will be used first.
🔎 Case 3: The picking path
The picking path is an optimized route defined in advance, making it possible to pick the products quickly and efficiently.
