GLS: ERROR WHEN GENERATING A LABEL "THE EMAIL FIELD IS INVALID OR MISSING"

You are trying to generate a label with the carrier GLS, but you receive the following error:

"The email field is invalid or missing"

This error indicates that the email address is missing, either in the delivery address of the order or in the shipping address entered for this carrier.

✅Solution: first, check that the delivery address has an email address entered.

Next, if you have shipping addresses configured by origin, check that the one matching the origin of the order concerned by the error does include an email address. To do this, go to Configurations => Notifications and labels => Shipping addresses by origin.

Finally, you will need to contact Shippingbo support so that we can check that the shipping address configured for the GLS label account used does include an email address.
