GLS: ERROR WHEN GENERATING A LABEL "THE MOBILE FIELD IS INVALID OR MISSING"

You are trying to generate a label with the carrier GLS and you get the following error message:

"Error when generating the label. Please check the address, then the label configuration.

⚠️The mobile field is invalid or missing."

This means there is an error either in the delivery address or in the shipping address.

✅Solution:

First, check that a phone number has been entered in the delivery address.

Then, if you have shipping addresses by origin configured, check that the one matching the origin of the order concerned by the error does contain a phone number.

To do so, go to Configurations >> Notifications and labels >> Shipping addresses by origin

Finally, you will need to contact Shippingbo Support so that we can check that the shipping address configured for the GLS label account used does contain a phone number.
