I CAN'T CONNECT AN EXTERNAL SERVICE; "ERROR WHILE UPDATING DATA. START BY CHECKING YOUR ACCESS"

You are trying to connect an external service (Prestashop, Woocommerce...) but cannot save the configuration. When you click on "Save", all the information you entered disappears and you receive the following error message:

"Error while updating data. Start by checking your access."

This usually means that one of the addresses entered is not in the right format (https).

✅Solution:

The solution depends on the external service you are trying to connect.

1) For Prestashop: the host and the admin_url must be in "https" format.

2) For Woocommerce: the store_url must be in "https" format.
