LABEL GENERATION ERROR: "THIS CARRIER ACCOUNT CAN ONLY BE USED FOR THE FOLLOWING SOURCES"

 

You encounter the following error when generating a label:

"⚠️ This carrier account can only be used for the following sources: Backmarket-15031, Boulanger-15037, Cdiscount-15032, Ldlc-20125, Macway-15040, Refurbed.de-20631, Cdiscount-19991, Shippingbo, Shopify-15044."

 

This error appears when the transport service used is restricted to certain order sources, and the order concerned comes from an unauthorized source.

In other words:

  • The transport contract or service is configured to accept only certain sales sources.
  • The source of the order you are trying to ship is not included in this list, which blocks label generation

✅ Solution:

You need to set the authorized sources in the configuration of the desired carrier service for this shipment.

 

To fix this label generation error, I invite you to check the configuration of the authorized order sources by following the steps below:

  1. From the side menu, go to Connectors, then Transport contracts.
  2. Select the transport contract concerned, that is, the one for which you encounter errors when generating labels.

  3. In the section My service configurations, select the carrier service with which the error occurs.

  4. In the section Other settings, you will find a setting related to the authorized order sources:


  5. Click on the pencil icon to edit the configuration and select the sales sources you want to authorize for this service in the drop-down list.
Checked sources will be able to use this service; unchecked ones will not be authorized and will return the error " ⚠️ This carrier account can only be used for the following sources".

 

🔷 Note:

If you set up this configuration, it is essential to check that it is identical on all the services of the same transport contract, in order to avoid any blocking or inconsistent behavior in the future.
